Artist Statement

​As someone who struggles to communicate with people and has a hard time getting my ideas out through describing them verbally, I want my goal with anything I do creatively is to let my work take the center stage for me and just show what I want to say. I want my work to be a gateway into my mind to showcase the odd ideas I wish I could share naturally. One of the best ways I wish to do this is by creating characters and stories based on them and drawing or animating them in this somewhat simple but expressive cartoony art style. I also love leaning into the more obscene and almost disgusting side of art to challenge my creativity and make it stick out more amongst the crowd. I thrive in creating work that's weird and kind of obscene at times but still lighthearted, understandable to the average viewer, and, most importantly, memorable.
