My ultimate aim as an artist and photographer is to tell stories in a visual and engaging way. I hope to utilize my own introspective nature and love of the visual medium of photography to express the many different kinds of stories, even the mundane and everyday has to offer. Being more of an introverted person myself and often stuck inside my own head, my work focuses on the quieter scenes that can often pass us by but are still valuable moments of self-reflection, expression, or loneliness.
With so many colorful and dramatic imagery to be found on the internet and elsewhere, I want to instead point my viewfinder toward the colorless and uneventful time that happens
in between. I believe even the inconsequential can have meaning to someone, and by displaying these solitary scenes and events, I hope to allow viewers to perhaps reflect and think on their own quieter moments, good and bad, and how these times are often when we are most ourselves.
