My current series of photography represents the simple beauty of nature and architecture. This stylistic choice allows me to explore new places and take a break from monitor screens and other technology we face in everyday life. I often feel inspired by friends and family because this allows me to show them new areas or different perspectives of places that they might have seen before. I enjoy sharing these experiences with people in my life who can no longer travel, and I feel that it allows me to be their tour guide through my nature photography.
Although my photography process is spontaneous, finding a location involves a bit of planning. Once I find the site, it's all about traveling and capturing the best angles and composition. Photography has given me another outlet to do what I want; each photo shoot comes with different results and emotions.
I still feel myself becoming better at photography, but I can't say I have mastered it yet. Sometimes it's a fight between me and my camera with the different settings, but as I continue to shoot, it lets me get a better grasp each time. Eventually, I want to step outside my comfort zone and experiment with my photography.
