BFA New Media

As artists, we are often asked challenging questions: What inspires us to create? How do we come up with our ideas? My artistic journey is fueled by my deep fascination and love for music, books, movies, and video games. Each of these forms of expression weaves a rich tapestry of stories and emotions that influence my work. My goal is to create art that evokes feelings resonating with viewers long after they leave the canvas or screen. This emotional

connection is what drives me, as an artist, to create.

The body of work I present in this exhibition combines traditional and new media techniques. I draw on my experience in New Media, which includes animation, visual effects, videography, cinematography, interactive art, and more. However, I also wanted to express my appreciation for traditional mediums such as painting and drawing. To create a cohesive collection, I blended painting and animation. These pieces tell narratives that viewers can interpret in their own unique ways, as no two people will perceive a work of art in the same manner. My aim is for my art to foster an experience where individuals can discover their own narratives and find solace. A sense of connection to the artwork will allow viewers to resonate with the message and reflect on their emotions after their initial encounter with it.
