BFA Graphic Design
Graphic design is where my love for creativity and problem-solving comes together. My passion for design started back in high school when I found myself equally drawn to both business and art classes. I was fascinated by how brands visually communicate their identity—how something as simple as a logo or packaging could tell a story, build trust, and shape experiences. That curiosity led me to pursue a BFA with a focus on graphic design, where I've been able to refine my skills and explore the intersection of art and function.
In my work, I tend to bounce between two different styles: one is sleek, modern, and minimal, while the other is raw, textured, and full of energy. The first is all about clean lines, bold typography, and a sharp, polished look that makes an impact. The second is more unfiltered and expressive, with rough textures, noise, and a bit of grit that gives it personality. I love switching between these styles depending on the project, finding the right mix of precision and character to make something that really stands out.
I'm especially drawn to design in outdoor gear, alcohol branding, and technology industries, where aesthetics, functionality, and storytelling all play a crucial role. There's something I find exciting about how a well-designed product or brand can evoke emotion, whether it's the sleek sophistication of a tech product, the bold authenticity of an outdoor brand, or the craftsmanship behind an alcohol label. My goal as a designer is to create work that not only looks good but also connects with people in meaningful ways. I want my designs to feel intentional, memorable, and impactful, blending creativity with strategy to push ideas further while staying true to their purpose.
