When it comes to design, there is much more involved than just the final product. It goes beyond simplicity, minimalism, and the financial success a design may bring. To me, design should be about the message it conveys. It's about the thought and intent behind it. Anyone can create a logo or a poster in any style they desire, or design a package however they like. But what is the history behind it? How much effort went into its creation? Does it effectively communicate the message you want others to understand, or is it just an appealing design?

I recognize that not everyone approaches art or design solely to convey a message. There often needs to be some symbolism or genuine reasoning behind the design.

My designs are not typical. The illustrations in my designs are complex and sophisticated rather than simple. They may not make an immediate impact. I admit that I don't always have a clear explanation for why I design or illustrate the way I do. I enjoy creating characters, each with a unique background and an untold story. With every color choice, every accessory, and every little sidekick or companion, there is intention and narrative. These elements might not be readily understood by many, but they are similar to the complexities of life.

Throughout life, you will encounter a variety of people, each with their own story—whether it's good, bad, or somewhere in between. Everyone has a unique background. While you may not understand the experiences of every person you meet, that's perfectly fine. You don't need to understand everything. What matters is that you can respect the differences among people: their looks, their actions, and their unique qualities. I believe that's what my characters represent. Yes, they will likely appear in a comic book or on television in a cartoon, but each character possesses a backstory that is uniquely theirs. In my view, that's the essence of design.
