I find my inspiration in all things weird, funky, peculiar, and straight-up odd. I like invoking a feeling of nostalgia to my viewers, as that is a feeling I strive to experience frequently.
Specializing in logo and branding design, I love creating something from a simple idea. The thrill and process of design drive me to create, and the journey of creating allows me to feel connected to people in weird, amazing ways. Many relate to my art, but others just think it is fun, and it satisfies me.
With screen-printing, I not only see my designs come to life, but I use sustainable materials, like thrifted bedsheets, thrifted frames and recycled tote bags to give love back to our planet. The physical aspect of screen printing is something I admire, being able to use my hands to create something and admiring the human imperfections along the way.
Illustration allows me to dive deep into my mind, creating anything I can dream of, no matter how strange. My hands, mind, and eyes work together to create characters, compositions, and messaging that go along with my social/political beliefs (and my random thoughts).
My work is undoubtedly me in the best way. I speak through technical design, processes, and structure while communicating with emotion, silliness, and unique style through screen-printing and illustration. A combination of the three defines me with a fusion of fun, ability, and raw emotion.
