About
Salisbury University invites you to its 66th bi-annual Senior Art Show, Crossroads!
Life takes us on many journeys and the decisions we make along the way carves a path towards the future. For these 33 seniors, their journeys have led them to this moment and the hours of dedicated work towards the exhibitions presented is the culmination of those decisions. Various mediums will be presented, such as paintings, graphic arts, and new media. Join them as the students take you through the journey of their artistic stories.

Our show will be held in two spaces. For the Graphic Design students, the show will be located in the Fulton Hall Gallery on campus. For the Fine Arts students, the show will be in the Downtown Gallery.
Admission is free and light refreshments will be served.
Professor Jinchul Kim
Jinchul Kim is a distinguished figurative painter and professor of art at Salisbury University. His most recent work explores the phenomenology of language, specifically the common ground we are able to find despite differences in dialects. He combines multilingual text and psychologically complex cinematic scenes with “ghosts of vision” that disrupt an easy reading of his paintings. His work evokes the liminal stage of college life through that calculated mix as he observes it unfolding around him everyday. He received his two MFAs from King Sejong University in Seoul and the School of Visual Arts in New York City. He exhibits his work internationally, including shows in Korea, Japan, France, Spain, and the U.S. He has received the Maryland State Arts Council Individual Artist Award twice, in 2006 and 2013. Kim teaches the capstone class, Senior Exhibition, Painting, and Drawing classes as head of the painting and drawing areas. In 2008 he earned the University System of Maryland’s highest faculty honor: The Regents Faculty Awards for Excellence in Teaching. He also received the Salisbury University Distinguish Faculty Award in Teaching the same year.
