Chloe Ament

My creative work includes a variety of mediums, including drawing, painting, printmaking, glass blowing, sculpting, and graphic design. My work expresses my artistic style by mixing mediums and providing the viewer with a visual experience. I have always found an interest in drawing anatomy and portraits. Faces and expressions are remarkably diverse and subjective to me. My work often portrays only pieces or segments of faces which I feel offer the most necessary expression. I like my art to allow the viewer to see parts of themselves in my work, whether they feel an emotional connection, a physical resemblance, or simply see their reflection. I have incorporated my pencil drawings and paintings into graphic works in many of my pieces through photoshop and lightroom. I find art to be very personal, and meaning is always within the viewer.
