Photographs are like windows to the past. Moments are frozen in time that relates to happiness, loss, or even a time of curiosity and discovery. When you look at one, what emotion do you feel? These photos were taken during a time of immense loss—the death of a loved one. I want to cover that time with pictures that tell a story of a future that period created. That's another thing about photos. They not only capture moments from the past but also give you a look at what's coming. In recapturing these moments, I've reconstructed them. I want to draw out emotions that speak of family, love, home, nostalgia, and happiness. By creating this 'Window of Time', I hope others can take a glimpse into it and see something new.
